A wonderful northern New Mexico home available by the day, week or month for artists, writers, songwriters, meditators, or anyone who just wants a peaceful get-away. In keeping with Art of the Song's mission to inspire creativity worldwide, we think offering our creative sanctuary to those who want to enhance their creativity is the perfect thing to do!

At 8,000 ft in altitude the clear crisp air is refreshing by day and gives way to a night sky blanketed by billions of stars. A few days or weeks in this magnificent setting offer a perspective that can often yield breakthrough insights. Whether you're a visual artist, writer, or musician, creative inspiration abounds in this high desert/mountain retreat setting.

Walking trails are just a matter of opening the front gate, and for the serious hiker the Kit Carson National Forest––with trails to the Latir Wilderness––is less than a mile away.

Looking out from the living room to the east, crows dance in the breeze while the occasional hawk or eagle catches a thermal high above the snow capped (September through June) peaks.

Sleep in the comfort of a king size bed. Vanity and soaking tub are in the bedroom and there is an adjoining water closet.

The second bedroom features a queen sized bed and there is a couch in the living room with a (comfortable) queen size fold-out. Linens and towels are provided.

  • $2400 per month
  • $850 per week
